April 9th, 2009There’s certainly a lot of activity on the green automotive front — and GRRReen is right in the middle of it! We’ll have the Ford F150 we converted to a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) on display at the Ride Clean Car Expo near Price Center at UC San Diego on Tuesday, April 15 from 3 to 6 p.m.
GRRReen debuts at San Diego IndieFest V
March 30th, 2009San Diego’s North Park neighborhood was rocking to the sounds of the fifth annual IndieFest on Saturday. We were there as sponsors of the Green Stage, and to show off our Ford F150 plug-in hybrid conversion (PHEV).
A plug-in hybrid Toyota Tacoma: See it Wednesday
March 5th, 2009We’ll be participating in the North County Business Showcase, March 11 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
Stop by and see us — we’ll be sharing space with our friends at Sequoia Solar, and showing off the Toyota Tundra we recently converted to a plug-in hybrid for them.

January 7th, 2009It’s not every day that you have the chance to help save the planet by naming a promising new company – but you have that opportunity today.
We are Plug In Hybrid, Inc. That’s our name today, and it’s not bad. Totally descriptive, and like Xerox and Kleenex, it gives us ownership of the space, in a way.
But we’re thinking big, and we want to find a name that matches our vision.
